Fossola di Tramonti, in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Would you like to enjoy, even with little effort, the rugged and vertical beauty of the most authentic Cinque Terre, forgetting for a moment the five famous villages, the pastel colors, the shop windows overflowing with souvenirs for tourists, the little restaurants, the bars, and the usual selfies to share on social media? Instead, prepare for a walk among vineyards and lemons that proudly stand between the sea and the sky. It is here, amidst these fragments of rural life, nestled between steep hills and uncomfortable salty cliffs, that an ancient staircase winds down, seemingly in a hurry to reach the endless blue sea at its feet, which leads to the tiny church of the Guardian Angel, where one cannot help but pause to contemplate the view. To be honest, I cannot imagine a more romantic place than this: the white walls of the religious building stand out brightly against the green and blue backdrop. Here, with just a glance, one appreciates the power of the territory with its rugged heights plunging into the blue, the terraces that slice through the profile like the scissors of a skilled tailor, and then, on the other side of the mountain, the old village of Monesteroli that seems to defy the laws of gravity. Here, I think that upon arriving here, you will understand, without many more words, that buying a stone farmhouse in this wonderful spot means "embracing" the sea, with the distant profiles of the islands of Palmaria and Tino and on the other side, on clear winter days, even Corsica, Gorgona, and Capraia. Outside the property, we find a porch for outdoor lunches and dinners, a terrace overlooking the sea, and a flat garden with olive trees and fruit trees. Internally, the farmhouse has been "masterfully" renovated by a skilled architect who has transformed a farmhouse into a comfortable residence for your holidays and consists on the ground floor of a spacious living room and eat-in kitchen (complete with washing machine and dishwasher) with sea view and direct access to the outside and the porch, a windowed bathroom on the ground floor, and two double bedrooms with sea view (one with a walk-in closet) with the possibility of adding a loft for more beds and a terrace with an immense sea view on the first floor. A small external room used as a storage room on the garden level and a wood-burning oven. Heating is electric and/or with a pellet stove with an air system to heat the rooms on the upper floor. All that remains is to schedule an appointment with Anna to visit this "dream" place and this wonderful farmhouse! Some information: the online site "Viaggi News.com" has indicated the beach of the locality Fossola in Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre, as the most romantic in Europe. Rich in stones, pebbles smoothed by the sea, and the wild nature of the area, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, the beach, besides being frequented by locals and tourists visiting or staying in the village, is located in the easternmost part of the village, in a small bay enclosed between the village and the promontory of Punta Montenero, and to reach it one must descend to the beach of Fossola (10 minutes walk). To reach the house, it is necessary to descend along a path of about 6 minutes on foot from the comfortable private parking lot protected by a barrier with remote control, accessible only to the residents of Fossola di Tramonti. The farmhouse is classified as "A" (residential), a rarity in this magical place where most houses are classified as "C" (tool sheds, warehouses, etc.), ideal as a family home but also as a "holiday home" with excellent economic results.
